# Simultaneous interpretation in 4 different European languages

Delivering a localised live event experience in multiple languages for international association.

AMICE needed to engage their global membership during their annual online conference. They identified Wavecast as a solution that could personalise the live event for every member of the audience. Using multi-language features, the broadcast was localised into four different languages.

#### Challenges

- Deliver a consistent experience for an international audience of native English, German, French and Spanish speakers
- Bring a complex event brief to life without it being a strain on association resources or compromise UX
- No identifiable technology solution that could meet the brief

#### **Solutions**

- Customised registration journey to offer choice of languages at sign-up
- Single live event website for the entire audience that provided a consistent event experience
- Language toggles added to pages that switched audio streams without leaving the event site

#### **Results**

- Localised audio feeds for 6 x languages delivered through the same solution
- Increased accessible for all international members of the association
- Better overall member engagement for the annual flagship event.
